Key focus is the development and execution of strategic and tactical plans for the sales and account management function, with leadership for multiple sales teams in the Greater China Region export business.
Responsibilities
- Work with the client’s Sales Lead counterpart on the development of strategic and tactical plans for the sales and account management function.
- Execute these plans across the sales and account management function to drive revenue.
- Motivate a portfolio of teams / managers to achieve quarterly revenue targets and hit KPIs.
- Manage and coach a number of Sales Managers.
- Lead rigorous process and operations management to grow and scale the business function.
- Provide thought leadership to enhance program outcomes.
- Report business status in weekly, monthly, or quarterly updates to multiple stakeholders in data-driven, concise written and verbal communications.
- Identify actionable insights and craft plans to deliver on them.
- Ensure all Account Manager teams understand and execute any rolled-out sales initiatives.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the Greater China Region Export business and attend regular cadences with key clients and sales partners.
- Develop people and build high-performing sales teams.
- Manage delivery outcomes while providing strategic and tactical input as outlined above.
Qualifications
Preferably 7+ years of professional experience in digital media sales, online advertising, or sales leadership.Preferably 3+ years of sales leadership experience in leading or growing sales / account management teams with demonstrable revenue targets.Preferably experience in leading teams of people managers (manager of managers).Native-level Mandarin fluency required to support Greater China Region.Experience in Digital Marketing with advertisers and / or agencies in the Greater China market.Deadline- and detail-oriented.Experience leading Digital Marketing sales teams in a multinational environment is an advantage.Relevant experience working with accounts or customers in Greater China is an advantage.Data-driven decision-making with strong analytical and reporting skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce and Office / G-Suite tools is preferred.Seniority level
