To oversee and lead a team of QA inspectors and technicians to work on daily routine.
To control and manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), CAPAs, and customer complaints.
To investigate the root causes of quality incidences by working with the various process owners.
To institute appropriate corrective and preventive actions accordingly.
To develop and maintain QA documentation such as SOPs, control plans, and inspection criteria.
To perform acceptance tests on all new materials and process changes.
To monitor the performance of suppliers / outsources / subcons and initiate appropriate improvement actions.
To provide necessary product engineering support on the new product introductions and process validations.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Polymer Technology / Mechanical Engineering / Material Science / Chemistry / Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
Preferably with 3-4 years of relevant working experience.
Proficiency with SPC, 8D, DOE, FMEA, and other QC tools.
Knowledgeable in ISO 9001 Quality Systems and ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
Technically competent with good analytical skills, result-oriented, proactive, resourceful, with a high degree of independence and perseverance.
Ability to work cross-functionally with other departments.
Good command of both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Understanding of Mandarin is an added advantage.
