Senior Executive / Manager, Corporate Finance
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Finance specialist in the local market to join our expanding Corporate Finance department under our Islamic Banking entity, Alliance Islamic Bank Berhad, as we embark on our Acceler8 journey to rebuild and strengthen our capital market capabilities. The successful candidate will join the department at Senior Executive / Manager or Assistant Vice President level depending on experience and exposures.
Responsibilities
Business Development Support
- To assist in the coordination and implementation of corporate exercises on a timely basis
- Assist in overseeing timely billings and collection of fees
- Assist in ensuring proposals are reasonable and consistent with market-based principles and meet regulatory requirements
Compliance and Risk Management
No reprimand from authorities for jobs handled by Corporate FinanceTo draft submissions / circulars / announcements in compliance with regulatory standardsTo draft proposals which are consistent with market-based principles and compliant with regulatory requirementsAssist in reviewing from time to time the sufficiency of due diligence procedures for Corporate Finance to be in line with latest regulatory requirementsEnsure compliance with the relevant provisions of the Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorism Financing Act 2001 and the relevant requirements under the ABG Policy on AML / CFT and AIS AML / CFT Procedural Manual, in order to prevent AIS from becoming a conduit for money-laundering and financing to terrorism activities.Service Quality
Assist in the execution of assigned mandates within reasonable predetermined time linesAttend regular team meetings on specific jobs to report progress and minimize client dissatisfactionMaintain regular contact with clients to ensure their needs and objectives are metReview proposals for consistency with market-based principles and regulatory requirements to minimize the possibility of rejection by authorities and / or shareholdersRequirements

Overall working experience of minimum 5 years, with at least 2 to 4 years experience in corporate advisory dealing with IPOs, M&A, fund raising, restructuring, etc.Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.Qualification
