(AMU) LECTURER, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, review, update, prepare and implement high quality lesson plans, tutorials, assignments, and class discussions in compliance with the syllabus and curriculum.
• Conduct and deliver quality lectures, tutorials, discussions, workshops, consultancy, and other learning facilitation methods to students.
• Contribute to the development of new academic programmes and provide ideas, proposals, and recommendations to improve operations, management, and the institution's effectiveness.
• Supervise students and monitor their academic progress.
• Consistently monitor and provide feedback to students and provide academic counselling.
• Involved in general academic administration of the faculty as required.
• Fulfill administrative and supervisory roles associated with teaching, research, and innovation.
• Develop examination papers and other assessments aligned with course learning outcomes; invigilate examinations and evaluate student performance.
• Assist in communication and administrative matters in accordance with university policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., MOHE and MQA).
• Be involved in marketing activities such as education fairs, open days, and other marketing drives.
• Attend to other tasks and assignments as directed by Management.
