Finance Assistant

We are seeking a talented Finance Assistant to join the growing team at the Malaysian Cricket Association in Klang, Selangor. In this full‑time position, you will be responsible for providing crucial financial and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our accounting operations.

What you’ll be doing

Assist with the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.

Perform data entry, reconciliation, and other accounting tasks to maintain accurate financial records.

Process invoices, payments, and expenses in a timely manner.

Provide support with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed.

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to address financial inquiries and resolve any discrepancies.

Contribute to the implementation of financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and controls.

Assist with general office administration duties as required.

What we’re looking for

Relevant diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

At least 2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in a fast‑paced environment.

Strong proficiency in financial software, spreadsheets, and accounting systems.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records.

Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders.

Proactive problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Familiarity with Malaysian accounting standards and regulations.
