Purpose Statement Provides technical support to Plexus global user community while ensuring that applications, systems, networks, and technologies are available and functioning to support business processes. Collaborates with other IT personnel, vendors, and business staff to identify and resolve issues and contributes to technology projects that align with Plexus's philosophy and business objectives.

Key Job Accountabilities

System Maintenance :

Follows established change management policies to research, recommend, test, and implement system updates, modifications, or deletions. Ensures systems remain healthy and available, delivering flawless execution on complex tasks and strategic projects.

System Ownership :

Owns and maintains systems, networks, technologies, inventory, or processes supporting a business function. Ensures high availability, integrity, security, and recoverability of data on a 24 / 7 basis, including ticket resolution, patch management, performance monitoring, resource management, upgrades, documentation, and configuration. Resolves operational issues and improves efficiency through root cause analysis.

Project Work :

Collaborates with global IT teams and leadership to deploy complex technologies supporting business needs.

User Support :

Resolves operational issues to ensure user satisfaction, utilizing policies and procedures, and delivers permanent solutions.

Operations :

Develops and enhances policies and procedures for deploying, managing, and supporting systems for global, regional, or local personnel and customer needs.

Education / Experience Qualifications

Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years with a Master’s degree; or equivalent experience.

Other Qualifications

Knowledge of networking services and protocols.

Computer literacy in Windows environment, including word processing, spreadsheets, flowcharting, and project management tools.

Maintains confidentiality of all company and customer information.

Supports around-the-clock monitoring and management, possibly after hours.

Able to multi-task and stay organized while adapting to company needs.

Implements and guides processes and security policies, incorporating best practices in network design and security.
