Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure servicing tasks are carried out in accordance with customers’ requirements, including returning equipment to the original manufacturers’ specifications and incorporating the latest hardware / firmware / software modifications where appropriate.
• Provide technical support for customer servicing enquiries.
• Provide progress reports on servicing tasks and convey any problems or delays immediately to the customer.
• Ensure all lab instruments are calibrated prior to the due date.
• Ensure the lab Performance Test system has the latest version software and is well updated.
• Provide front line support to customers.
• Perform services in-house and on-site.
• Maintain the lab’s standards.
• Diagnose and repair airborne radio equipment.
• Support in MS ISO9001, IEC / ISO17025, EN / AS 9110.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on-site, diagnose and repair instruments.
• Any other duties assigned from time to time.
