Interior Designer

Overview

We are seeking a talented and technically strong Interior Designer to join our team in Penang. This role requires someone who can manage projects from concept to completion, including client presentations, coordination with contractors and suppliers, and site supervision. The ideal candidate will have both creative design ability and practical construction knowledge, ensuring that designs are executed efficiently and to the highest standard.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present design concepts, layouts, and material specifications for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
• Coordinate closely with architects, contractors, engineers, and vendors to ensure alignment of design and construction requirements.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, BOQs, mood boards, and 3D visuals to support project proposals.
• Manage and oversee projects–including project planning, timelines, budgeting, and site supervision – to ensure the design intent is maintained during construction.
• Conduct site visits and meetings to address on-site challenges and provide timely solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, innovative materials, and sustainable design practices.
