Job Description :
- To oversee and manage the Sales Department. Responsible for Business Development and Customer Care.
- To secure new customers, service existing customers, attend to customers’ requests, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Prepare quotations pertaining to Airfreight, Sea freight, Trucking, warehousing, & et al. according to customers’ requirements.
- Requisition and negotiation of rates from Airlines, Shipping Lines, co-loaders, and NVOCC.
- To send sales leads to overseas group offices and agents to generate additional businesses overseas.
- To secure routing order import and prepare shipping instructions for all nominated inbound shipments for both air & sea.
- To meet and achieve monthly and yearly targets. Also, prepare Daily Sales Appointment Reports and Sales Reports and write up profiles of every new prospective customer visiting and each week submit Sales Report to the Branch Manager / Marketing Director / Managing Director.
- Besides, shall also submit Bad Debtors Report by the end of every month to BM.
- To close follow-up and securing of debtor’s payments & to submit Credit Application to Branch Manager for each new client secured when terms are requested.
- Coordinate & provide seamless information feedback to / from our customer service and operation staff on any special arrangement requested by / offered to customers to ensure smooth & excellent service.
- To assist Branch Manager in achieving the company goals and objective.
Job Requirement
Diploma / Degree holders in Marketing / Mass Communications / Business Administration / Transport with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the forwarding industryAbility to write and converse effectively in English and Bahasa MalaysiaMust be computer literate (MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint)Pleasant personality with good analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills and ability to interact well at all levelsStrong leadership qualities with motivational skillsAble to lead a team of personnel & Able and willing to travel extensivelyPossess own transport with a valid licenseHighly motivated, independent, and able to work under pressureSub Specialization : Sales; Business Development Type of Employment : Permanent Minimum Experience : 5 Years Work Location : Selangor
