We’re seeking a Junior Accountant to join the Corporate team. This hands-on role will be a key part of the regional Finance team and offers a range of responsibilities including managing the day-to-day financial operations, month end accounting and compliance. The Role
Responsibilities Include :
- Accounting and Reporting : Maintain the General Ledger Accounts, Manage Fixed Asset / Prepayment / Expense Accrual schedules, Manage Balance Sheet reconciliations, Reconcile COGS accrual and bills on a monthly basis, Manage month end closing and statutory financial reporting accurately to meet reporting deadlines, Review and analysis of the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss accounts, Preparation and lodgement of payroll tax and BAS / IAS / GST / VAT, Assist with consolidating quarter / half year / year end accounts and prepare papers for the S4 group, Assist with financial analysis
- Tax and Audit : Liaise with the external tax advisory for any withholding tax (GST / CIT) implications in the existing and new markets, Assist with statutory tax lodgement, Assist with the Global and local statutory audit
- Governance : Maintain and improve process and internal controls, following up the mitigating action of internal control weaknesses, Work with the external bookkeepers / vendors
- Other : Assist with ad hoc tasks and any other activities directed by Management
What You Bring To It
