Sourcing Engineer

Overview

Review all data in the entire BOM & responsible for sourcing materials / components per MPN, Manufacturer, Description & Drawings. Prepare quote package & monitor RFQ through the process & document all concerns, discrepancies & issues. Manage all suppliers in a manner consistent with the highest professional, ethical, moral & legal standards. Plan, source & develop new potential vendors at competitive price, quality & lead time. Manage and coordinate vendor selection and qualification & conduct vendor audits. Overall manage vendor performance, consolidate & maintain all supplier performance indicators. Oracle data entry, ASL setup on piece part information correctly. Maintain product price list, approved Vendor master list & Contract Agreements. Embark on cost-reduction activities & participate in regular cost-saving programs. Coordinate interaction between the section in the Material department & all other departments & subsidiaries of the equipment group. Perform other ad-hoc assignments as assigned by Management from time to time. Specific focus on Electrical Engineering-wire harness and standard part spec and able to cost calculation.

• Enter data in Oracle and set up ASL on piece part information.
• Maintain price lists, approved Vendor master lists & Contract Agreements.
• Engage in cost-reduction activities and participate in cost-saving programs.
• Coordinate interactions between the Materials section and other departments and subsidiaries of the equipment group.
• Perform ad-hoc assignments as directed by Management.
• Focus on Electrical Engineering-wire harness and standard part specifications with cost calculation.
