In this role, you will leverage your expertise to shape and manage our data platform, to enhance data-driven decision-making across the organisation. What You'll Do Design and implement software and data components, to acquire and manage data in a reliable and cost-efficient manner. Ship scalable, testable, maintainable, and high-quality code. Drive standards in data reliability to enable accurate, consistent, and trustworthy datasets, business intelligence products, and analyses. Share knowledge, promote standard methodologies, mentor juniors - making your team the best version of itself. What We're Seeking Proficiency in cloud technologies, or strong experience working in cloud-based engineering teams. Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, and experience with libraries like PySpark, Pandas, DBT and FastAPI. Good understanding in distributed systems, such as Spark, Kafka, Kubernetes, micro-services, or event-driven architecture will be a plus. Good understanding in database, data lake, and data warehouse technologies (Postgres, Redshift, Big Query, Snowflake, etc.). Commitment to quality and what it takes to ship highly maintainable software Owner-operator mindset, and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities. Excellent communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
