Overview
The Store Manager is responsible for managing daily operations of the jewellery store to achieve sales targets, deliver exceptional customer service, maintain store standards, and ensure compliance with company policies. This role includes leading and motivating the team, managing inventory, and ensuring a premium shopping experience for customers.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure smooth day-to-day store operations in compliance with company SOPs.
Maintain store cleanliness, display standards, and visual merchandising according to brand guidelines.Report to and assist the Area Manager in managing day-to-day retail operation of the assigned branches.Ensure proper maintenance of accounts, cash flow and sales records by cashier.Enforce internal control procedures to reduce stock and monetary leakage from the retail outlet.Improve and enforce SOPs to achieve a tighter, more effective and profitable operation.Guide all branch staff to carry out their duties as detailed in branch operations.Undertake other responsibilities assigned by branch management from time to time.Team ManagementRecruit, train, and develop store staff to enhance product knowledge and selling skills.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, monitor staff performance, and provide coaching.Provide leadership and direction for the respective retail outlet.Create, motivate and encourage a teamwork culture within the retail outlet and the organization, instilling commitment and ownership in the team.Provide guidance and training on store processes, procedures and business activities according to SOPs to achieve objectives.Plan and manage day-to-day operations, including monthly duty rosters, daily work schedules, and leave management.Identify and follow up on problems encountered by staff.Ensure staff fulfill their responsibilities and adhere to company policies and procedures.Ensure sales turnover and gross profit margin meet or exceed company objectives.Assist the supervisor in setting annual and monthly sales targets for the outlet.Manage outlet expenses within the allocated budget.Monitor monthly inventory value as assigned.Prepare and submit monthly Branch Reports to the supervisor.Financial Management / Sales StrategiesEnsure sales turnover and gross profit margin meet or exceed objectives.

Diploma / Degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field.Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in retail management, preferably in jewellery, luxury fashion, or high-end retail.Strong leadership and people management skills.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Excellent influencing and negotiation skills.Knowledge of jewellery, diamonds, and precious metals is an advantage.Willing to work retail hours, weekends, and public holidays.Fluent in Mandarin and English.#J-18808-Ljbffr
