Job Purpose
To ensure that all food and beverage operations at the golf club and convention centre comply with Malaysian food safety regulations and Halal requirements, while supporting day-to-day compliance, audits, training, and improvement of food safety and Halal management systems
Job Responsibilities
Business :
- Implement, monitor, and improve Food Safety Management Systems (e.g., HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000).
- Ensure compliance with Food Act 1983, Food Regulations 1985, local authority guidelines, and MOH requirements.
- Lead application, renewal, and maintenance of Halal certification (JAKIM / state authorities).
- Conduct internal food safety audits and hygiene inspections.
- Provide food safety and Halal training for all food handlers.
- Maintain SOPs, food safety and Halal documentation.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and certification agencies.
- Investigate food safety incidents and complaints.
People Development :
Conduct and attend relevant training sessions to enhance food safety, Halal knowledge, and leadership skills.Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or related field.HACCP certification required.Halal Executive Training / Halal Internal Auditor certification preferred.Benefits
