Role Overview
As a Manager, you will lead ITGC and data analytics engagements from planning through execution, working closely with clients and engagement teams. You will deliver high‑quality insights, manage and develop your team, and drive innovation in analytics within audit. This role offers the platform to build trusted client relationships, shape best practices, and contribute to the firm’s growth in Technology Risk Assurance and data analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee multiple technology assurance engagements from planning to reporting, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Develop technology assurance strategies that align with organizational risk priorities and client objectives, including IT General Controls (ITGC) and application controls.
- Provide expert guidance on technology assurance methodologies, data analytics, and emerging technology risks to audit teams and clients.
- Manage client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for technology assurance matters, and drive discussions on control improvements and risk mitigation.
- Review and approve technology assurance workpapers, findings, and reports, ensuring high quality and compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor, coach, and develop technology assurance staff, fostering technical skills, professional growth, and team collaboration.
- Identify opportunities to enhance technology assurance processes through automation, data analytics, and innovative tools.
- Monitor changes in the regulatory and technology landscape to keep practices current and effective.
- Support business development initiatives by contributing to proposals, presentations, and client pitches.
Education & Experience
Recognised degree in Accounting / Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics or equivalent with at least a second‑class upper grade.Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in Technology Risk Assurance, internal audit, external audit, or data analytics, ideally gained in a professional practice environment.CISA certification is strongly preferred.Other Skills
