Senior Design Engineer

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Design Engineer to join our dynamic team at Mod.Engr Consultant' in Ipoh, Perak. As a Senior Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and delivery of innovative civil and structural engineering solutions for our clients. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects and contribute to the growth and success of our company.

What you'll be doing

Providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers in the design team

Designing and developing complex civil and structural engineering systems, including buildings, bridges, and infrastructure projects

Conducting detailed structural analyses, using advanced modelling and simulation tools

Collaborating with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects

Ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations

Identifying and implementing innovative design solutions to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness

Contributing to the development of company-wide engineering processes and best practices

What we\'re looking for

A Bachelor\'s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or a related field

5+ years of experience in civil and structural engineering design, preferably in a consulting or engineering firm

Proven track record of leading the design and delivery of complex engineering projects

Expertise in the use of industry-standard design software, such as STAAD, ETABS, and AutoCAD

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in the civil and structural engineering industry

Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Professional Technologist (TS)
