Oversee production stages to uphold consistent quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
Plan, monitor & ensure the Environmental Monitoring Program (EMP) is implemented according to the plan.
Conduct trending of results obtained from EMP and review the EMP with the line manager and stakeholders.
Follow up / verify corrective actions with stakeholders if any out of specification results are detected.
Update work instructions / guidelines or follow up with respective stakeholders, such as production, if there are changes to existing practices.
Perform validation / verification activities which would trigger a review of the EMP due to changes related to products, processes or legislation where relevant.
Manage documentation and records related to quality control activities, inspections and audits for Soy Sauce Fermentation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in food science, food technology, microbiology, biochemistry, or related field
Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in quality control and supervision in a food manufacturing environment
Able to work shifts
Able to work extra hours OT, including weekends and public holidays
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Certification in food safety and quality management systems (e.g., HACCP, FSSC 22000, ISO 22000) is a plus
The candidate will relocate to the Shah Alam plant during the probation period
