Job Summary
APAC Treasury Manager (Future Leadership Role) will be the first APAC direct Treasury hire, responsible for establishing a regional treasury presence and supporting global treasury initiatives. This role will start as a hands‑on individual contributor and transition into a leadership position as the team grows. The position will play a key role in implementing global processes such as cash management, liquidity forecasting, and Kyriba adoption, while partnering closely with US and EMEA Treasury teams to build a unified global treasury function. This is an opportunity to create a Treasury Center of Excellence in Malaysia for a multinational company with a complex global footprint.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage APAC cash positioning and liquidity processes to ensure optimal regional cash utilization.
- Collaborate with global Treasury teams to implement standardized cash management and forecasting practices across regions.
- Own local banking relationships and align APAC banking structure with global banking objectives.
- Drive adoption of Kyriba and other treasury technologies across APAC.
- Support global FX exposure gathering and hedging execution.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and treasury policies.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on treasury‑related matters.
- Support treasury system implementations and process improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.5+ years of experience in corporate treasury, banking, or finance with exposure to cash management and liquidity operations.Hands‑on experience with cash positioning and short‑term forecasting across multiple entities.Familiarity with banking operations (account management, KYC, signatory updates) and ability to manage external banking partners.Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; advanced Excel proficiency.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight timelines.Ability to work effectively across time zones and cultures in a global team environment.Preferred
Experience implementing treasury systems (e.g., Kyriba) and process automation.Track record of building or transforming treasury operations.Experience in a multinational corporation or semiconductor industry.Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders across functions.CTP (Certified Treasury Professional), CPA, or CFA certifications.#J-18808-Ljbffr
