The Assistant Manager, Operations / Maintenance oversees the daily operations and maintenance of the shopping malls, ensuring optimal performance and safety of all mechanicalandelectrical(M&E)systems.Thisrolerequires extensiveknowledgeof M&E engineering and Green Building Index (GBI) standards to maintain a sustainable and energy-efficient environment.

Responsibilities

• Overseemaintenanceandsecurity oftheshoppingmallstoensuresmooth and efficient functioning.
• Developandimplementoperationalpoliciesandprocedures.
• Coordinatewithvariousdepartmentstomeetthemalls’operationalneeds.
• Lead themaintenanceteams toensureallM&Esystems, includingHVAC, elevators, escalators, and lighting, are functioning optimally.
• Scheduleandsupervisepreventiveandcorrectivemaintenanceactivities.
• Manageandcoordinatewithexternalcontractorsandserviceproviders.
• ImplementandmaintainGBIstandardstopromotesustainabilityandenergyefficiencywithin the mall.
• Identifyandimplementinitiativestoenhancethemall’senvironmental performance.
• Superviseandmentorstaff,conductperformancereviews,providetraining, and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Developandmanagetheoperationsandmaintenancebudgetwhile monitoring expenses to ensure cost-effective practices.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards by conducting regularinspections,riskassessments,andimplementingandenforcingsafety protocols and emergency response plans.
• Performotherdutiesasrequiredbymanagement.
