We are partnering with a US MNC that specializes in manufacturing of Porous Plastic / Polymer Solutions. The company is expanding their Malaysia operations and looking for a Process Engineer as part of their strategic growth. Responsibilities :
Conduct process capability and validation activities to ensure consistent and compliant production outputs. Validate software tools and systems used within production and ensure alignment with internal Quality Management Systems (QMS). Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, DMAIC, SPC, and other quality engineering methodologies. Perform Measurement System Analysis (MSA) to ensure the accuracy and reliability of testing and inspection processes. Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to introduce and implement new processes and technologies effectively. Investigate quality-related issues including customer complaints and internal non-conformities, leading root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions. Facilitate risk assessments using tools such as FMEA or Fault Tree Analysis for both current and new processes. Drive preventive actions and verify effectiveness through structured problem-solving approaches (5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, etc.). Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Materials Science, Chemistry, Mechanical, Mechatronic or Electrical) 2–4 years of experience in a quality or process engineering role within a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with ISO 9001 : 2015 standards, GMP, and experience in regulated industries (e.g., medical devices, automotive) is highly desirable. Proficiency in quality improvement tools and methodologies such as FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, CAPA. Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma tools preferred.
