Production Engineer

Oversee and monitor daily production activities on the plant floor to ensure smooth operations and adherence to schedules. Ensure machines, equipment, and tools are operating efficiently and coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive and corrective actions. Support the implementation of engineering changes affecting components and production systems. Assess and troubleshoot production issues; recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions to minimize disruption. Work collaboratively with quality control, supply chain, and maintenance teams to meet production targets and maintain product quality. Participate in production planning, scheduling, and cost control efforts to maximize resource utilization. Facilitate and support technology transfer initiatives to maintain a secure and efficient production supply chain. Manage validation activities to ensure equipment and systems are compliant with internal standards and regulatory requirements. Identify and implement process improvements to increase throughput, reduce waste, and minimize production downtime. Lead or support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Six Sigma initiatives to improve overall plant efficiency and performance. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline. 2–5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing engineering role. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Familiarity with production planning, scheduling, and cost control principles. Experience with equipment validation and change management. Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally. Experience in Medical Device, Automotive, pharmaceutical, industrial. Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Proficiency in using ERP systems and manufacturing software tools. EEO Policy Statement
