General Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to join our team. This role requires a strong technical background in mechanical engineering and proven project management skills to lead complex engineering projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering innovative solutions while managing cross-functional teams, timelines, and budgets.

Essential Duties :

  • Lead projects through all phases, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
  • Collaborate with ODMs on project’s deliverables and come up with Risk mitigation plan to avoid project scope, schedule and cost creep
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and vendors.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver regular project updates to stakeholders, including reports and presentations.

Collaboration and Leadership

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering professional growth and technical excellence.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, promoting innovation and efficiency within the team.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years in a technical project management role.
  • Understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgets.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of successful team collaboration.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of Chinese will be considered an advantage
  • Preferred

  • PMP certification or equivalent project management training.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., ASME, ISO).
