Job descriptionDiploma / Certificate in Mechanical, Mechatronic, or related field. Minimum 1–2 years of experience in fixture or tooling maintenance (fresh graduates may be considered). Hands-on skills in machining, fitting, or basic mechanical repair. Able to read and understand technical drawings. Good problem-solving and teamwork skills.
Overview
- Perform assembly, setup, calibration, and maintenance of production fixtures and jigs.
- Troubleshoot fixture-related issues to minimize production downtime.
- Support engineers in fixture modification or improvement projects.
- Ensure all fixtures comply with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain fixture records, preventive maintenance schedules, and spare parts inventory.
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams for fixture readiness and improvements.
- Assist in new product introduction (NPI) by preparing necessary tooling and fixtures.
