Benefits Summary

This is a full-time permanent role
Medical Leave, Medical Claim, Insurance Coverage, Annual Leaves, Monthly Allowances, Variable Bonuses, Annual Salary Increment Scheme, Stable Career Progression, Nice and Dynamic Work Environment etc.
Basic Salary : RM4,000 – RM5,000 (Commensurate with experience) + Fixed Allowances + Variable Bonuses
Work location : Kulai, Johor Bahru
Working hours : Data Centre rotating shift hours

Our Client is seeking a passionate Data Centre Shift Lead to oversee the day-to-day 24x7 operations of a data center during their assigned shift, ensuring the continuous and optimal performance, security, and maintenance of critical facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and supervise shift schedules, support operations, and team performance

Train new members and oversee task execution by shift engineers

Monitor data center environmental conditions, BMS, HVAC, UPS, and other critical infrastructure to maintain uptime and meet customer SLAs

Perform alert monitoring, first-level troubleshooting, and escalate issues as per SOPs

Handle customer queries, calls, and emails; manage conflicts professionally

Maintain daily logs, shift handovers, and incident reports via the ticketing system

Prepare reports (monthly, audit, SOPs, MOPs, EOPs) and support internal / external audits

Ensure compliance with data center policies, house rules, and emergency operations procedures

Track and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities

Execute additional duties or projects assigned by the Head of Department

Requirements

2 year's experience in data center operations related field

Diploma / Degree in electornic engineering or technology related field

Possess knowledge of BMS, HVAC / CRAC, Fire System & UPS

Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Fast learning ability, willing to pick up new skills and technologies

Self-driven, Positive attitude and team player

Able to support a 24 / 7 environment
