Position Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development / SAP Sales Consultant to drive growth in the SAP Services and Solutions portfolio in Malaysia and the broader Southeast Asia region.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP solution selling, customer engagement, and end-to-end deal lifecycle management — from prospecting to closure.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Sales Execution
- Identify, qualify, and close opportunities for SAP Managed Services, Migrations, Re-Implementations, and Greenfield Implementations.
- Engage with CXO-level stakeholders to understand business challenges and position Canopus’s SAP solutions effectively.
- Drive customer acquisition through direct engagement, referrals, and partner channels (SAP, Microsoft, AWS, etc.).
- Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline aligned with quarterly revenue targets.
2. Account & Relationship Management
Build long-term strategic relationships with key clients and enterprise decision-makers.Manage existing accounts to identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities in AMS, BTP, Cloud ALM, Analytics, and AI areas.Maintain consistent client engagement to ensure high satisfaction and repeat business.3. Solution & Proposal Management
Work closely with pre-sales, delivery, and technical teams to develop proposals, SoWs, and commercial models.Coordinate RFI / RFP / RFQ responses with strong articulation of Canopus capabilities and differentiators.Present Canopus offerings in customer meetings, demos, and roadshows.4. Market & Partner Collaboration
Collaborate with SAP Malaysia, AWS, and Microsoft partner teams for joint go-to-market initiatives.Stay updated on SAP ecosystem trends, competition, and customer investments in RISE with SAP / GROW with SAP programs.Represent Canopus at industry events, networking forums, and SAP partner gatherings.Required Skills & Experience
7–10 years of experience in SAP solution sales / enterprise IT business development.Proven track record in selling SAP Implementation, AMS, and Migration projects in Malaysia or SEA region.Strong understanding of SAP S / 4HANA (Public & Private Cloud), SAP BTP, and Managed Services model.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and deliver measurable results.Familiarity with SAP ecosystem partners (SAP, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.Degree in Business, IT, or related field (MBA preferred).Drop resumes at
