Warehouse Logistic Manager

Salary : RM4,000 and above (commensurate with experience)

Job Purpose

To oversee and manage the company’s warehouse operations and logistics activities, ensuring efficient inventory control, timely delivery of materials, and smooth coordination to support shipbuilding and repair projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and dispatching materials and equipment.
• Manage inventory accuracy through regular stock checks and proper documentation.
• Ensure efficient logistics and transportation arrangements for on-time delivery to shipyard or project sites.
• Coordinate with the procurement and project teams to ensure timely supply of materials for shipbuilding and repair works.
• Maintain proper record-keeping of all incoming and outgoing shipments, delivery orders, and material requisitions.
• Develop and implement warehouse procedures to improve productivity and reduce operational costs.
• Monitor warehouse safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and train warehouse staff to ensure proper handling and storage of materials.
• Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and transporters to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Prepare reports on inventory status, logistics performance, and material usage for management review.
