Job Responsibilities

  • Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
  • Execute and manage routine e-commerce warehouse tasks including goods reception, packages organising, shelving, QC & packing, sorting, exceptions handling, inventory management, palletising and shipping
  • Optimize warehouse layout, storage systems, and workflows to maximize efficiency and productivity
  • Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
  • Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
  • Maintain standards of health and safety protocols, hygiene and security
  • Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies
  • Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
  • Train and supervise warehouse staff; set performance goals
  • Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN / OUT status report, dead stock report etc)
  • Implement quality assurance processes to ensure products meet standards before shipment
  • Overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations to support the efficient and accurate fulfilment of customer online orders in a timely manner
  • Leverage warehouse management systems (WMS), OMS, barcode scanning, and other tools to streamline operations and improve accuracy
  • Ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions
  • Knowledge of inventory management best practices and quality control processes
  • Lead and participate in special projects aimed at improving warehouse efficiency, such as process automation, layout optimization, and technology implementation
  • Achieve warehouse KPI, operation optimisation and cost control goals
  • Continual reviewing, analysing, improving processes and efficiencies

Requirements And Skills

  • Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager (preferably in eCommerce)
  • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing KPIs
  • Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases (OMS / WMS / Barcode, etc)
  • Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
  • Strong decision making and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • BS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in English (Written & Spoken)
