Overview

Press Metal is the largest aluminium producer in Southeast Asia, with operations in Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Japan, Australia, the UK and the US. This is a full-time opportunity for candidates who are willing to relocate to Jakarta, Indonesia, with relocation support provided. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial accounting and costing support to the business. This hybrid role will initially focus on project costing and budget control during the construction phase. Following project completion, the focus will shift to broader finance responsibilities, including financial reporting, compliance, and operational support.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Costing & Budget Control
• Manage project budgets from planning to completion.
• Track and validate expenses to ensure alignment with budgets.
• Conduct variance analysis to highlight trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Work closely with procurement and operations teams on project-related financial matters.
• Report project updates and budgets in written Chinese.
• Finance & Accounting
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare and post General Ledger (GL) entries.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
• Prepare management and financial reports, emphasising project costs and profitability.
