bp is seeking a Senior Manager, Product & Engineering (Mobility & Convenience & Pulse) to lead technology delivery for the MC&M business in ANZ region, aligned to global technology strategy. The role is part of the bp M&C and Pulse global organization with operations across multiple regions. Responsibilities

Lead the design and build of sophisticated software components, services, and solutions. Review design documents with engineering and architecture peers and incorporate feedback. Own project delivery to production, ensuring high-quality code, comprehensive tests, and efficient deployment pipelines. Integrate software with distributed systems and shared APIs across bp. Collaborate with partner teams to enhance system reusability and resilience. Partner with product management, data science, and UX design teams to resolve issues and implement controls for compliance. Mentor senior and junior engineers and develop successful teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative solutions to market; communicate status and changes. Maintain and enhance development frameworks; participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices. Technology delivery management : oversee projects from strategy to delivery, create roadmaps, schedules, and budgets; act as main liaison between stakeholders, global teams, and bp units; apply Agile frameworks to ensure continuous delivery of value. Data-driven decision-making : monitor health and KPIs of products, platforms, or services; promote transparency and seek feedback from collaborators and users. Resource and vendor management : manage internal teams, external suppliers, and technology partners to balance capacity and ensure quality. Financial management : oversee budget planning, allocation, and tracking; provide reporting to support decision-making and optimize resource use across projects. Qualifications

Significant experience working across complex, globally dispersed businesses. Computer Science degree or equivalent work experience. Proven success applying Agile, Lean, and project delivery methods at large scale. Excellent ability to balance strategic priorities with tactical execution and strong attention to detail. Outstanding communication and influence skills with ability to engage a broad range of stakeholders. Motivation to solve complex problems and drive results. Commercial mindset to improve value delivered to the business. Ability to work with multi-discipline squads leveraging product, design, project, data, and engineering teams. About bp
