The Supply Chain Assistant will oversee and manage the logistics operations, ensuring efficient and effective supply chain management. This role involves coordinating with various departments to optimize the flow of goods and materials, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery to meet the company’s operational needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Contact point for end-to-end order fulfillment operations which includes, planning and scheduling, freight / transportation arrangements.
Evaluate and manage forwarding agents and couriers’ performance / KPI – ensuring a continuous service in quality, timeliness, cost efficiency.
Able to create / design / monitor and present operational reporting’s
Work with other cross-functional teams that is required on day-to-day operational. A team player.
Drive on continuous improvement through process, system enhancement, cost savings, and problem solving.
Ensure operational compliance, service level adherence.
Oversee operations in other AMD control sites within Penang.
This position is a 5 days work, start time from 8am to 5pm.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE :
Logistics background or supply chain background
Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
Must be willing to work on weekends and PH when required.
Need to be able to travel.
Able to work independently
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS :
Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
