Overview

Job Description : Providing professional consultancy services to clients primarily in the areas of trademark, industrial design, and copyright.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and submitting documentation to the Intellectual Property Office in compliance with statutory requirements.
• Managing and monitoring the entire application and registration process until completion (e.g., issuance of certificate or registration).
• Drafting submissions and / or arguments in response to office actions, refusal notices, and oppositions; advising clients on options to overcome objections or refusals.
• Overseeing and coordinating with clerical staff to ensure proper file management, database updates, adherence to deadlines, and prompt client communication.
• Preparing monthly case reports for the Head of Department.
• Staying updated on the latest developments and procedural changes in IP law, particularly in trademarks and copyrights.
• Writing informative articles, client updates, or brief insights to raise awareness and promote understanding of IP rights.
