Job description8+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, software engineering, or related roles, with a proven track record of production-scale ML deployments. Deep expertise in Python, ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow), and MLOps practices (MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes). Strong background in distributed systems, data engineering, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Experience designing scalable pipelines and architectures for high-volume, real-time ML applications. Solid software engineering fundamentals, including system design, APIs, CI / CD, and performance optimization. Strong leadership skills, with experience mentoring teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders. Ability to balance hands-on technical work with long-term architectural vision and strategy. Play a defining role in shaping the future of Calibrax’s AI platform and engineering practices. Work on technically challenging problems at the intersection of ML, systems engineering, and real-world impact. Lead and mentor a high-caliber team while staying deeply technical. Lead Machine Learning Engineer
We are looking for a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to play a pivotal role in shaping how we design, build, and scale AI systems at Calibrax.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of large-scale machine learning systems, from data pipelines to deployment and monitoring.
- Drive MLOps strategy, ensuring models are production-ready, resilient, and continuously improving.
- Partner with data scientists, product managers, and engineers to deliver impactful end-to-end AI solutions.
- Mentor and coach other engineers, raising the bar for ML engineering excellence across the team.
- Evaluate and introduce emerging tools, frameworks, and infrastructure to advance Calibrax’s AI capabilities.
- Establish technical standards and best practices for scalability, reliability, and ethical AI.
- Act as a thought leader within the organization, influencing both technical strategy and business outcomes.
