Technician - Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic (M,E&E)

To assist E&E Executive / Head of Unit in implementing and executing operational and maintenance activities of E&E highway operations specifically for Street Lighting & Building Services in accordance with established procedures.

Continue to execute and implement E&E systems and to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the department. This includes functions relating to highway M&E operations and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities :

• To perform routine maintenance and 1st level troubleshooting works for Street Lighting and Building Services E&E system.
• To execute guideline, procedure and technical standard in maintaining effective E&E Unit especially in TCS and TCSS asset routine and corrective maintenance program.
• To supervise and monitor E&E performing the work at the PPROLINTAS premise.
• To coordinate and work together with other units / department in ensuring minimum system downtime and breakdown.
• To assist Head of Unit and E&E Engineer / executive in conducting investigation / study on TCS and TCSS technical issue.
• To identify the root cause of system and equipment problem.
• To assist Head of Unit and E&E Engineer / Executive in monitoring TCS and TCSS spare part inventory.
• Coordinate and liaise with TCS and TCSS suppliers on hardware upgrading and installation, software and operating systems installation.
• To execute, monitor and evaluate preventive maintenance of TCS and TCSS equipment.
• To perform corrective maintenance as per agreed service level.
• To carry out an inspection and audit to the system for ensuring the functionality and reliability of the system.
• To perform other duties as instructed by supervisor or other senior management.
