Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement procurement & sourcing strategies focused on optimizing costs, quality, delivery, and reliability of suppliers for an assigned category or group of categories. Working collaboratively with Bids / Proposal & Technical team, you will also have overall responsibility of managing the tendering process of large scale projects in compliance to the company integrity and contractual obligations.

Work Model : Hybrid, Onsite

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Hub Asia Energy Industries E-House Business. The role is to be based in Petaling Jaya or Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

You will be mainly accountable for :

• Managing tendering activities and evaluation of vendor proposals for large scale E-House projects.
• Implementing effective sourcing strategies to ensure suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements.
• Analyzing procurement activities covering total cost of ownership and identifying opportunities to improve cost modeling and reliability of supply base through external market intelligence benchmarking.
• Building senior level relationships with strategic suppliers through objective engagement and performance reviews.
• Ensuring early involvement in the project tendering stage and contributing positively towards the success of the project bid.
• Defining and establishing standard agreements in purchase contracts / terms and conditions in line with company directives and guidelines; identify and mitigate risks associated to contract management.
• Reporting and tracking of cost budgets, spend and savings forecasts, including presentation of supplier positioning and risks to senior management.
