Cybersecurity Engineer (Technology Risk & Blue Team)

Risk Assessment : Conduct thorough technology risk analyses, aligning with business needs and regional regulatory requirements while maintaining crucial documentation.

Blue Team Operations : Lead detailed assessments and audits on security controls, focusing on email, endpoints, applications, and data protection.

Regulatory Compliance : Prepare and submit documentation for global digital payment licensing, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.

Security Configuration : Perform Level 1 configuration and establish baselines for various security systems, following NIST, ENISA, CISA, and MITRE framework protocols.

Data Protection : Implement and manage data protection measures, including encryption, tokenization, and DLP solutions, while ensuring compliance with GDPR, PDPA, and other privacy regulations.

Collaboration : Work closely with technical teams and department heads to maintain a robust security posture and drive continuous improvement.

Who are they looking for?

Industry Experience : At least 3 years of experience in technology risk, blue team operations, and regulatory compliance, preferably in digital payments, financial services, or banking.

Educational Background : Diploma or Degree in IT, cybersecurity, or a related field. Candidates with relevant experience but different educational backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.

Language Skills : Proficiency in both English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Chinese vendors and diverse teams.

Technical Expertise : Strong knowledge of technology risk, defensive strategies, endpoint security, IAM, PAM, and access control.

Security Framework Knowledge : Familiarity with security frameworks, layered defense, SIEM, endpoint & VPN security, and DLP.

Certifications : While not mandatory, relevant certifications such as Comptia Security+, CEH, or vendor / industry certifications are advantageous.
