LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities

• Perform analyse of raw materials, process intermediate, finished products, competitor samples, boiler water and effluent according to standard test method.
• Prepare and standardize reagents and indicators.
• Calibrate, operate and maintain laboratory instruments / equipment.
• Compile test data into the laboratory database system accurately.
• Prepare and maintain retained samples.
• Assist in maintaining and handling documents to meet ISO standards.
• Receive and / or collect samples.
• Maintain inventory records of chemicals, apparatus, consumables, etc.
• Implement laboratory waste disposal.
• Prepare samples for external testing, customers, customs, etc.
• Maintain overall housekeeping of the laboratory.
