Machinery Inspector (WFH, on-site only during inspection)

Summary
We have more than 100 vacancies nationwide. The role will be WFH. You\'re only required to work on-site during inspection (appointment-based). We are seeking dedicated and independent candidates to perform statutory inspections on certificated lifting machinery (cranes, elevators, escalators, hoists, and mechanised walkways), pressure vessels (steam / non-steam), and boilers (autoclave, electrode, steam, hot plate, oven).
About the job
- Perform statutory inspections on certificated machinery (machines that require a Certificate of Fitness, or CF).
- Detect possible defects and faults in machinery installations, maintenance, or operations, and recommend appropriate remedial measures per statutory requirements.
- Accurately reads, interprets, and comprehends certificated machinery operation, installation plans and instructions.
- Utilises non-destructive testing (NDT) devices and methods to ensure certificated machinery operation meets statutory requirements.
- Coordinate work schedules with customer team / technicians (OYK) to ensure maximum operational efficiency.
- Conducts work operations per established safety practices, ensuring all work is completed without risk to self or others.
Skills & experience required
Degree / Diploma in Engineering (engineering technology will not be considered) with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience working with machines that require CF.Candidates with professional registration (CP / Steam Engineer, API 510) are an added advantage.Fundamental knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment and safety mechanisms.Ability to interpret and explain NDT test results to stakeholders.Benefits
