Senior Project Manager - Data Center

Overview

Senior Project Manager - Data Center role at Hitachi Energy. We are seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver large-scale, complex projects across the APMEA region, with strong emphasis on Data Center projects. This role offers the opportunity to manage initiatives that are critical to our business growth and operational excellence. The role is open to be based in Singapore, Malaysia or Thailand. No relocation is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate project teams to achieve key objectives and milestones effectively.
• Develop comprehensive project plans in partnership with the Project Controls department, covering all critical aspects.
• Manage project execution, ensuring adherence to Hitachi Energy policies and best practices throughout the lifecycle; monitor and control project financials, including invoices, expenses, and cash flow while managing associated risks and opportunities.
• Ensure all project activities comply with contractual agreements and Hitachi Energy policies; act as the primary interface with customers and key stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and issue resolution.
• Ensure adherence to Hitachi Energy’s health, safety, and environmental policies within all project activities, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Qualifications

Location & Travel

The role is based in Singapore, Malaysia or Thailand. No relocation required. Willingness to travel within APMEA as needed for project execution.
