About Our Client
Job Description
- Lead Tendering Strategy & Execution : Manage the preparation of competitive bids, estimates, and quotations, ensuring alignment with technical specifications, commercial terms, and internal standards.
- Risk & Commercial Oversight : Identify and mitigate risks across tenders and contracts, participate in risk reviews, and ensure full compliance with company policies.
- Team Leadership & Development : Coach and lead a team of Tendering Specialists, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement in bid quality and turnaround time.
- Customer & Internal Collaboration : Act as a key liaison between internal teams and external customers, ensuring technical and commercial support throughout the tendering process.
- Reporting & Analysis : Track bid status, analyze win / loss reasons, and provide insights to improve future tender outcomes.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Tendering Manager should have :
Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.Minimum 10 years of experience in tendering, estimation, or proposals, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Strong technical knowledge of MV Switchgears, Compact Substations, E-Houses, and electrical systems.Skilled in risk management, financial analysis, contract review, and handling technical clarifications.Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.Willing to work extended hours during peak tender periods.What\u2019s on Offer
