Electrical Engineer cum PLC Programmer

Overview

Designing and writing PLC logic : Create and implement control programs using ladder diagrams, structured text, and function blocks on different platforms. Working with HMI / SCADA : Set up and fine-tune HMI and SCADA systems to improve user interaction and data display. Troubleshooting and tech support : Identify and fix issues with PLC logic, wiring, and network communication, whether on-site or remotely. Documentation : Prepare and update I / O lists, wiring diagrams, system schematics, and functional specs for automation projects. Teamwork : Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to develop automation solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and test PLC-based control systems using ladder logic, structured text, and function blocks. Configure and optimize HMI / SCADA interfaces for effective data display and user interaction. Diagnose and resolve issues in PLC logic, wiring, and communications, both on-site and remotely. Produce and maintain documentation including I / O lists, wiring diagrams, system schematics, and functional specifications. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver automation projects.

Qualifications

Good at PLC programming and understanding automation systems. Strong problem-solving skills to quickly identify and fix system issues. Attention to detail and ability to document processes clearly. Flexible and eager to learn new tech, standards, and work in different environments. At least 2 years of experience in PLC programming and automation. Solid knowledge of industrial communication protocols. Ready to travel for installs and support if needed. Experience with AutoCAD Electrical is a plus.
