We are looking for a QA Executive to guide and support the implementation of the Nestle Quality system in a production plant in collaboration with the production team and all other departments.
Responsibilities
- Guides and supports the implementation of the Nestle Quality System in the plant in collaboration with the other departments.
- Validate and verify that QMS, HACCP, and all other SOPs are effectively implemented. Help the plant maintain a high hygiene standard at all times.
- Follow the prescribed guidelines that QA Executive establishes and review all quality control checks in the conversion of raw materials to Finished Goods.
- Responsible to validate and verify that all quality checks are properly executed.
- Ensure that all manufacturing materials and finished products meet the prescribed specifications before release by close monitoring of results and advising on corrective action in case of deviations.
- Establish, implement and review all quality control checks for raw / packing materials on arrival, and ensure that all checks are properly executed.
- Able to anticipate, troubleshoot and resolve quality deviations in collaboration with the suppliers and the QA Manager.
- Arrange for re-sampling and re-evaluation when there are slow moving materials or aging stocks identified by Resource Unit or Production teams (WIP material); feedback results to Resource Unit Manager and QA Manager.
- Participate in vendor assessment program.
- Collaborate with the QA Manager to identify training needs for QAAs and operators on topics such as Nestle Quality System (NQS), net weight control, sensory evaluation, alternative methods, quality checks, hygiene training, etc.
- Control analytic costs by following prescribed guidelines and seek opportunities for cost savings without impacting quality.
- Train personnel and observe Good Laboratory Practices. Set up and maintain comprehensive ICP.
- Ensure a safe environment in the laboratory by proper storage and handling of chemicals and safe laboratory practice.
- Coach, train, and motivate the team to achieve KPI targets; maintain good work discipline and establish a performance plan with regular reviews.
- Lead and guide the team on safety practices and in identifying and resolving potential safety hazards in the line and the laboratory.
- Continuously review the Quality system in collaboration with the Production Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, Engineering Manager, and the production team to improve food safety and quality.
- Support the Management Review of Quality carried out at least annually and be involved in formulating quality strategies and factory objectives.
- Promote quality improvement culture in the plant and participate in the implementation of Continuous Improvement (C.I.) projects.
Qualifications
Degree in any Scientific Discipline (e.g. Food Technology, Chemistry, Food Science, Mathematics, etc.).Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in Food Manufacturing.What Will Make You Successful
