Job Summary
The Handyman will be responsible for carrying out general repair, maintenance, and upkeep of the building and its facilities. The role involves performing basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks to ensure a safe and well-maintained environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repair work on building facilities, equipment, and fixtures.
- Handle minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.
- Conduct inspections to identify maintenance needs or potential safety issues.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently.
- Assist in setting up rooms, furniture, or equipment as needed.
- Ensure tools, materials, and work areas are kept clean and organized.
- Support technicians and supervisors with ad-hoc maintenance tasks or projects.
- Report major repair needs to the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.
- Willing to travel to various sites when required.
- Willing to work at different types of premises, including religious premises, as assigned.
Requirements
Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance worker, or in a similar role.Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work.Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely.Physically fit and able to handle manual work.Good communication and teamwork skills.Willingness to travel and adapt to different work environments.Able to work independently and manage time efficiently.Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.Inquiries : Whatsapp to
