Join Hyatt House Kuala Lumpur Mont Kiara as a Handyman. This position reports directly to the Lead Host - Engineering.

We are seeking an experienced Handyman to join us in the first Hyatt House hotel in South East Asia. This is a full-time role in a fast-paced environment requiring hands-on approach and collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities

• Takes an active role in resolving maintenance issues for both guest and associate areas, addressing issues that can be resolved immediately and reporting those requiring specialist skill.
• Properly handles and maintains all power tools.
• Submits requests to the Lead Host – Engineering for the purchase of parts and consumables.
• Ensures cleanliness of all work areas and protects the surroundings when executing duties.
• Ensures effective energy conservation measures in areas of operations.
• Ensures timely completion of work orders and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Assists with the Preventive Maintenance Program to ensure it is carried out promptly and to a high standard.
• Assists other Hosts with duties throughout the hotel when requested by a superior.
• Any additional specialist skill is an advantage.
