Base pay range

Responsibilities

• Design Leadership & Strategy : Develop initial design concepts including space planning, color schemes, and mood boards. Create detailed drawings and 3D models using CAD software. Specify furniture, fixtures, finishes, and materials.
• Team Management & Development : Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of designers. Foster a collaborative and innovative design culture. Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and support career growth.
• Project Oversight & Execution : Oversee the end-to-end design process, from concept to delivery. Ensure projects meet customer objectives, budget, deadlines, and quality standards. Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors. Conduct site visits to ensure design appropriateness during construction. Review and approve design deliverables.
• Collaboration with others : Work closely with marketing, product, engineering, and executive teams to align design with business goals. Present design concepts to stakeholders and ensure design principles are practical and take into account client requirements. Maintain strong client relationships and identify new project opportunities. Mentor junior designers and guide their professional development. Partner with external agencies, freelancers, or vendors as needed.
• Compliance & Standards : Ensure designs meet building codes, accessibility standards, and sustainability goals. Prepare construction documentation and technical specifications.

( part of Min Key Builders Sdn Bhd ( We are currently in the process of converting a mall into a REAL ONE STOP RENOVATION COMPANY with all the key building material and services including design and built all being available in ONE LOCATION. Our motto is to solve all the stakeholders’ headache and to revolutionize the way home renovation is done.

Senior Interior Designers : We are looking for a few Senior Designers with at least 6 years of working experience to lead the design teams. The Senior designers will lead teams of designers, collaborates with architects, contractors and all other stakeholders, and drives innovation in design, materials, and user experience.
