Purpose of the Role : To manage month-end & year end closing process, manage GL & AP to ensure expenses in daily operations comply to the established policies and procedures. In addition to meeting all deadlines for statutory requirements.

Expectations of the Role :

Responsibilities

Daily activities :

• Process invoice / petty cash / staff claims in the system effectively and ensure accuracy and completeness i.e. dealing with user if any discrepancy found to monitor all expenses and provide analysis to the management.
• Review SOA on a timely manner and communicate with respective users
• Perform testing script from Regional / Unit team
• Maintain system data and configuration – vendor, cost centre, profit centre etc
• Process intercompany invoice, billing, payment and perform reconciliation
• Process and maintain the records for asset and liabilities i.e. CAPEX, ROU, accruals, prepayments
• Review and perform reconciliation for long outstanding items in balance sheet and do clearing when needed
• Report to manager on a timely manner on the operational issues, system leakage and problematic users.
• Assist in the budgeting process and preparation of CAPEX and OPEX budget templates.
• Develop and maintain ad-hoc reports as needed. Perform special / ad-hoc projects as assigned by Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned when required.

Attributes Required

Must-Have : Possess a Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent

4 – 5 years working experience

Advantage to Have : Good in time management and able to meet deadlines; Strong organizational skills, quick to learn new concepts and work independently
