Truck Planner

Job descriptionEnsure daily delivery planning done for all outbound distribution. Manage and work with warehouse supervisor to monitor truck loading efficiency and compliance. Coordinate with drivers to ensure on-time delivery by tracking trucks for pick-up, estimating times of arrival and delivery and recovering loads when necessary. Develop relationships with current and new vendor and continually negotiate competitive rates with them. Manage, brief and train ground team to make sure operation execution follow SOP Respond to customer needs by answering e-mails, phone calls, tracking shipments, and moving shipments. Identify and select the best mode of transportation to reduce costs. KWSP SOCSO Medical claim included Annual and medical leave shall be in accordance with the prevailing Labour Law
Requirements
- Excellent hands-on skills with eye for details
- Ability to work independently.
- Positive attitude and responsible character.
- Pleasant personality with focus on excellence in customer service.
- Prior working experience will be an added advantage.
- Self-starter with good communication and interpersonal skill.
- Possess self-confidence and be able to actively interact with all relevant parties.
- 1-3+ years relevant experience.
- Transportation experience preferred.
- Experience in Supply Chain / Logistics is preferable in Transpor
