Job description

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architect, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience, ideally in the construction, building materials (especially steel structure), or related industries. Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Possess a good understanding of steel structure materials or products
  • Proficiency in CAD, Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Exhibit strong skills in communicating product value propositions, negotiating commercial contracts, and closing deals.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (for cross-border communication).
  • Basic Bahasa Malaysia is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to handle pressure.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High self-motivation and goal-oriented approach.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

1. Client Engagement & Relationship Building

  • Engage with new and existing customers to understand their needs, provide product recommendations, and offer tailored solutions. Maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients.
  • 2. Sales Development & Execution

  • Drive sales initiatives to achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly targets. Identify new business opportunities, prepare sales proposals, and close deals.
  • 3. Quotations & Order Processing

  • Prepare accurate quotations, follow up on inquiries, and ensure smooth processing of orders from start to finish.
  • 4. Market & Competitor Analysis

  • Stay updated on market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and refine sales strategies.
  • 5. Collaboration & Reporting

  • Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, logistics, finance) to ensure timely product delivery and customer satisfaction. Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.
  • 6. Customer Support & Issue Resolution

  • Act as a point of contact for clients to handle queries, troubleshoot issues, and ensure excellent after-sales service
