We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Accountant . Reporting to the Team Lead / Assistant Manager , this full‑time and permanent position is based in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur and offers local / regional coverage allowing you to make a significant impact on our Financial Accounting and its growth.
Responsibilities
- Book-keeping and accounting entries to accounting system (eg. accruals, adjustments).
- Responsible for timely preparation of accounts - weekly, month-end, financial year end closing and aging / listings.
- Work independently on accounting and management report and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Prepare accounting reports and deliverables and ensure submission within agreed timelines.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, monitor unusual items and movement, and investigate reconciling items.
- Meet Business Unit / client requirements / instructions and ensure on‑time and on‑quality deliverables.
- Prepare manual journal entries at month end and ensure that the supporting documentation for each manual journal entry is complete, adequate, and accurate.
- Perform monthly income tax calculation if required.
- Handle ad hoc activities as assigned.
Requirements
Fresh graduate or with 1 years relevant working experience in accounting, finance or relevant field of work.Experience working in client service or SSC environment will be an added advantage.Diploma / Degree or in the midst of pursuing professional studies in accounting / financial or its equivalent such ACCA, MIA, CPA or equivalent.Must possess management, good communication, strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.Why Work with Us?
