Responsibilities
- Provide pre- and post- commissioning technical services and assistance to Axens licensed Resid and VGO FCC technology units, including performance monitoring, troubleshooting and root cause analyses from office.
- On-site support for unit start-ups and shutdowns, troubleshooting, inspections for process units.
- Provide training in classroom and supported by OTS.
- Perform unit follow-up, analyzing and monitoring the performances of current operating units in close coordination with the Technical Services Group from Axens headquarter (France) and Axens SEA.
- Provide technical troubleshooting and report to Technical Services Group to support decision making.
- Supervise field activities during on-site missions, write procedures and reports related to these missions.
- Manage client interface during high-stress situations such as start-ups, turnarounds, and emergencies.
- Provide feedback for improvements in designs and procedures based on field experiences.
- Work closely with other members of the Technical Services Group to gain knowledge of Axens processes.
- Participate in the promotion of Axens technology and services during technical meetings and conferences.
- Participate in client trainings and ensure adherence to Quality standards in accordance with Axens HQ management policies and QHSE objectives when on site.
- Fulfil the above at the expected Axens standard.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or Engineering degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.At least 10 years of experience in operation and / or providing technical support for refinery, including process unit upstream / downstream FCC unit.At least 5 years of experience in unit operation and / or technical support for refinery, or equivalent technical services position for other FCC licensors.Good knowledge of operation and technical support on Axens technology for process up / downstream FCC units (Hyvahl or equivalent, PrimeG+ or equivalent) is a plus.Teamwork skills and ability to build long-term relationships with customers.Entrepreneurship and customer-oriented spirit.Experience working in an interdisciplinary environment.Well organized, rigorous, autonomous and responsible, analytical skills.Proficient in English.The candidate must be prepared to travel often.Seniority level
