Production Supervisor to oversee daily backend operations. One of their major responsibilities is ensuring that materials and supplies are in a positive flow. They should also ensure that machines are functional, and the production facilities adhere to safety standards. Given the nature of today’s business environment, a production supervisor will have to manage a talented and diverse team. One of their most important goals is to properly organize and direct the production staff to achieve a satisfactory workflow. They must also identify areas for improvement and organize training opportunities for their team.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations : Guide your team to achieve production targets and ensure smooth operations throughout your shift.
• Ensure safety compliance : Implement and maintain safety guidelines, acting as the Production ERT lead for your shift.
• Develop team skills : Plan and execute training programs for operators based on production needs, enhancing overall team capabilities.
• Optimize efficiency : Evaluate production stations and implement improvements to maximize operational efficiency.
• Facilitate communication : Maintain clear lines of communication to employees to ensure proper understanding of procedures and policies.
• Manage performance : Conduct 1 : 1 sessions with operators as needed and address any rule violations promptly.
• Drive continuous improvement : Contribute to ongoing enhancements in production processes and team performance.
